No, our bikes are designed for high-intensity delivery-based usage but not for any specific company. If you would like to rent our bikes for use in a different context, get in touch by emailing [email protected]
We want you on the road ASAP, so we make sure our e-bikes come loaded with inclusions to make that happen! When you pick up your bike, it will come with (at no extra cost!):

Yes! We offer our Bolt Bikes for purchase, with prices depending on the age of the bike you want to buy. We also offer "Rent to Own" options for e-bikes, where you can own your bike at the end of your lease. Check out the different price plans in the Bolt app or get in touch to learn more.
You will need to bring your photo ID (Driver's license or Passport) and a helmet with you to your appointment.

Note: We offer discounted helmets for sale at our shops. Please check with our representatives when you sign up.
Of course you can! We offer free test rides for you to experience the Bolt Bike firsthand. Simply request a test ride at the bottom of the page.

Please note: If you plan on picking up the bike, make sure you make a booking via the app to reserve your bike.
You can pick-up your Bolt Bike from the Bolt workshop after you complete a booking in the app. See here to find a Bolt location in your city.
Repairs and servicing are included in your weekly rental. You can book a service here. If your repair is more urgent, please message us through the app or website.
Please immediately report to the police and notify Bolt representatives. A secure lock is included in your rental with Bolt and we will also provide you with a guide on how to lock your bike securely. We also advise that you take out Damage & Loss cover options to reduce your liability.
At Bolt, we want to keep our fleet of e-bikes healthy so you all have a flawless delivery experience. To do this, we require a REFUNDABLE Security Deposit, which will be refunded if you return your bike without damage.
To keep weekly payments low without locking you in to a long-term contract, we require a Bolt Starter Fee. It's an upfront fee that gives you access to our exclusive Member Benefits, and it also covers your safety onboarding and application processing. It is not refundable after our 7-day free cancellation period.
If you become a member of the Bolt Community, we give you the tools and tips to earn as much money as possible, as safely as possible. Our member benefits include:
  • Access to our exclusive Bolt Community Facebook Group, where you can find lots of great tips and tricks on how to earn more
  • Invites to our Rider Focus Groups, where you can meet other members and tell us how we can help you earn more and stay safe

If you damage or lose our bike (including if someone steals it), you must pay the full price of the bike unless you have Damage & Loss Cover.

Damage & Loss Cover is a weekly add-on to your plan which limits how much you have to pay if the bike is damaged or lost. Talk to a Bolt representative for more details.
